
Peter Christian’s Tavern opened its doors on July 20th, 1975. We still hadn’t received our beer & wine license so we had to give away alcohol on that day. Ahh those were the days.
Since that time, we have served hearty home made food to millions of friends
I feel there are four basic reasons for our success.
Our food: Everything we serve at the tavern is made fresh in our kitchen. The desserts come out of our oven, not a box. Our salsas, hot fudge sauce, quiche & crust, famous mustard sauce, award winning soups, croutons, and salad dressings.

Our staff: We take pride in training the best people to provide you a friendly dining experience Be assured that when you enter the tavern you will arrive as customers and leave as friends
The Tavern itself. Nothing has change since we opened our doors almost thirty four years ago. In this day and age when things past so quickly it is nice to know that you can come to a place where it remains the same.
